Nothing is now diverting its attention from the premium segment of over-ear headphone to the more affordable sub-brand, CMF. Nothing’s CMF Headphone Pro is a design-driven budget line set to inherit elements of the parent company’s innovation. CMF Headphone Pro debut is set for September 29, aiming to bring high-end features and bold aesthetics into a price bracket aimed at wider accessibility.

Ahead of the release, Nothing has given a teaser of two new key USP features of the CMF Headphone Pro while confirming, they’ll bring a splash of colours to the market, much like existing CMF smartphones like the CMF Phone Pro 2.
Nothing’s CMF Headphone Pro
Nothing’s X released the details that CMF is gearing up to launch the Headphone Pro, which would be the first-ever pair of over-ear headphones.
As per usual, CMF is promising a few flourishes that could make its headphones just a little different from your run-of-the-mill budget audio device.
CMF energy slider
CMF has left users to their imagination for the energy slider on the Headphone Pro as showed on the X platform. It has asked users to guess what the energy slider can do. By the looks of it, energy slider appears to be a regular slider with a three-dot-like design.
The new energy slider could possibly be used to turn on Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) or even serve as a bass booster. It is possible that CMF may want to continue the buzz before the product unveiling.
CMF Headphone Pro other features
CMF Headphone Pro also have multiple physical buttons just like Nothing Headphone 1. There is a wheel too that is rumoured to be used to change the volume of the device. Additionally, there is also a button to power on the headset, which may be used for Bluetooth pairing as well.
CMF swappable earcups teaser
Looking at the teaser it seems as though CMF is coming up with swappable earcups that could be customized. As per a clip on X platform posted by the company, users may be able to swap the earcups, great for those who want to try out the two colours.
CMF Headphone Pro color
Nothing is known for its simplistic black and white aesthetics while CMF has established itself as being more colourful. It has teased the Headphone Pro in two colours so far, orange and green.
CMF Headphone Pro release date
The worldwide launch of the CMF Headphone Pro is on September 29. CMF has not announced the price of the Headphone Pro yet. It is believed that the CMF headset will cost less than the Nothing Headphone 1.
Nothing is aiming to bring its signature design to increase the reach with the more affordable and innovative CMF Headphone Pro, Between the energy slider, swappable earcups, and bold color options, the headphones promise a fresh, customizable experience in the budget over-ear segment.
